The most important information about the export from Revit to FEM-Design:
The most important information about the export from Revit to FEM-Design:
- Only analytical model categories can be exported from Revit to FEM-Design (analytical elements, supports, grids, levels, loads, load cases). For the full list of elements exported, look into manual. If an element has no analytical model, it will not be exported.
- The exact definition of analytical model is exported to FEM-Design therefore, make sure the analytical model is present for each element and well connected.
- Every analytical element has to have a valid Structural Material assign to it. In case of multilayer elements (floors, walls), only the layer that is market as 'Structural Material' will be exported.
For full information about what and
how is exported, please look into the manual.
